Another Christmas Decoration Idea
Here is a simple Christmas decoration idea, just use bows. Decorate everything with bows.
* Tie ribbons to chair backs, candlesticks, picks in plants, wreaths, garlands, basket handles, drapery tie-backs, stair railings, and doorknobs.
* Bows look festive and the ribbons you choose should tie together with the rest of your decorating. Choose ribbons in colors and patterns that coordinate with your decorating scheme.
* You don't have to stick with red and green. Choose plaids or florals that tie in. If you can't find anything that looks quite right, then choose metallic silver, gold, green, or red.
* Choose a ribbon that you can untie and re-tie each year. This will save money in the long run, and you'll end up with a good collection.
* When the holidays are over, untie the ribbons and press them lightly. The bows won't get crushed and the ribbons will be ready when you want to take them out the next year.
I hope you can use this decoration idea.
Have a great weekend.

Think Outside The Box With This Christmas Decoration Idea
For years people have put one Christmas tree in one place in their home, the living room. Well, how about this Christmas you think outside the box and put Christmas trees throughout your home. Just think about it, a Christmas trees brings joy and brightens up a room.
Think about putting a tree in your kid’s bedrooms. Since bedrooms are small, small trees would do just fine. You can decorate the trees to reflect each child’s interests. How about a very small tree on the kitchen counter or on top of the refrigerator and a small tree as a dining table center piece.
To welcome your guest with a hardy “Merry Christmas” you can place a small tree in the entrance hall on a small table. You can decorate with inexpensive ribbons and bows if you’re on a budget.
So this Christmas let every room in your house express the joy of the holidays. Put a Christmas tree in every room.

Frittata For The Day-After Thanksgiving
This is the last Thanksgiving post. I just had to give you this recipe for those Thanksgiving leftovers. The best thing is that this will only take you 30 minutes to make.
Ingredients
PAM Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
1 can (14.5 oz each) Hunt's Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic & Oregano, drained
1-1/2 cups chopped cooked turkey (1-1/2 cups = 8 oz)
1/2 cup leftover chopped zucchini or green beans
1 carton (16 oz each) Egg Beaters Original (16 oz = 2 cups)
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper, optional
1/4 cup fresh shredded Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup = 1 oz)
Directions
1. Preheat broiler. Spray medium nonstick skillet with ovenproof handle with cooking spray; heat over high heat. Add drained tomatoes, turkey and vegetable. Cook 3 minutes, or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
2. Pour Egg Beaters and red pepper, if desired, evenly over turkey mixture; reduce heat to medium-high. As edge begins to set, lift up using a spatula to let as much liquid Egg Beater flow underneath until edge is set, about 2 minutes (top and center will still be very loose). Sprinkle cheese evenly over top.
3. Place skillet under broiler. Broil 4 minutes, or just until top is set. Cut into 6 wedges.

Gravy For Your Thanksgiving Turkey
For those of you who like gravy with your Thanksgiving turkey here’s a recipe for it.
Ingredients
* 2 pounds turkey wings
* 5 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
* 1 medium onion, halved
* 4 carrots, chopped
* 1 head garlic, smashed
* 2 sprigs fresh sage
* 2 sprigs fresh thyme
* 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
* 8 black peppercorns
* 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
* 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
* Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Heat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Put the turkey wings (also backbone and neck if you have it) into a small roasting pan and roast them until they are golden brown, about 30 minutes. Heat 3 tablespoons olive oil in a large stock pot over medium-high heat. Add the onion, carrots, garlic, herbs, and peppercorns and cook for 5 minutes. Add the turkey wings. Pour some water into the roasting pan and scrape up all the browned bits on the bottom; add this to the pot. Cover everything in the pot with cold water by 1-inch and bring to the boil, skimming any foam that rises to the surface. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Strain out the solids and discard. Wipe out the pot and put it over medium heat. Melt the butter with the remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil and add the flour. Cook this roux, stirring frequently, until it is golden brown. Slowly whisk in the strained stock being careful to work out any lumps. Cook until the gravy has thickened, about 10 to 15 minutes.

Stuffed Onions For Thanksgiving
Here’s something different you might want to try for Thanksgiving, Stuffed Onions.
Ingredients
* 4 large onions (about 3/4 pound each)
* 1/4 cup chicken broth
* 1/4 cup heavy cream
* 1/2 teaspoon sugar
* Salt and pepper
* 1 cup cooked turkey stuffing
* 6 tablespoons cranberry sauce
* 2 cups chopped cooked turkey
* 1/2 cup turkey gravy or chicken broth
* 1 1/3 cups mashed potatoes
Directions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Cut the top 1/2-inch from each onion, peel the onions, and with a melon-ball cutter scoop out the centers, reserving the onion pieces, leaving 2 layers of onion or 1/3-inch-thick shells, leave the bottoms slightly thicker. Transfer the reserved onion pieces to a 13 by 9-inch glass baking dish. Drizzle the broth over them, and arrange the onion shells, inverted on top. Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake the onions in the middle of the oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the shells are just tender. Remove and reserve the shells. Into the onion pieces, stir the cream, the sugar, and salt and pepper, to taste, and bake the mixture, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes.
While the onions are baking, in each reserved onion shell layer 1/4 cup of the stuffing, 1 1/2 tablespoons cranberry sauce, and another 1/4 cup of the turkey. Holding each shell in one hand pack the layers lightly. Arrange the stuffed onions on top of the baked creamed onions and pour 2 tablespoons of the gravy into each stuffed onion. Top each stuffed onion with 1/3 cup of mashed potatoes, mound them, and score with a fork. Bake the onions, stirring the creamed onions occasionally, for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden.

Well, I’m back and ready to help you make your holiday day season a little easier for you. I want to start this year off with some great decoration items that I ran across. You will also find these items in the sidebar, but these are the ones I thought were very interesting.
First off is this “Wonderful World Of Disney Christmas Tree”. This Disney tabletop Christmas tree has 4 rotating levels, 50 favorite Disney characters, lights, music and motion. This is a great looking decorative it for Disney lovers and who doesn’t love Disney.
When I saw this I thought WOW what a great looking decoration. This Thomas Kinkade collectible snowman figurine is an authentic cut crystal with an illuminated village and animated train.
The last thing I want to show you is this Thomas Kinkade Nativity Garland. This handcrafted mantel masterpiece featuring over 60 lights and 22K-gold accents. I just love the way this thing looks.
I hope this helps you along as you prepare to start your decorating for Christmas. Look for more decorating ideas in future posts.
